buddi is currently looking for a Chemist to join their Stirling team, to continue developing novel features and cutting-edge new products. It is a very exciting time to join the business as they continue to grow and innovate.For this role, experience in electrochemistry techniques and enzymatic sensors knowledge are required, ideally along with an understanding of their interface to electronics.
As a Chemist, your responsibilities will include:- Contribute to sensor design development through refinement and analysis of techniques
- Development of test regimes for electrochemical sensors
- Research and development of reusable sensing devices for analytes of interest
- Provide regular up-dates of product development to rest of team
- Interface with suppliers on sensor development and formulation issues
We are looking for a Chemist who has the following skills/experience:- Use of lab statistical software (OriginLab or Minitab)
- Collaboration experience with team members from other fields
- Understanding of electronic systems
- Good understanding of processes and procedures that might be used in production environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Results-orientated
- First-class attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills
Education / Qualifications / Certifications:
BSc (Hons) in Chemistry, MSci in Chemical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry or relevant PhD
