Data Engineer (mid-level)

Our client is a tech scaleup that is set for further considerable growth. Everything they are involved in is geared towards succeeding at speed and doing so effectively. Our client’s revenue has grown substantially over the last 12 months, and they work alongside some of the biggest names inthe world. Their platform turns billions of data points for millions of products into actionable insights. We are excited to be supporting them in recruiting a Mid-level Data Engineer to join the team and help the business grow even further. 
 
As a Mid-level Data Engineer, you will: 
 

• Work with the Senior Data Engineer and the Product Manager to help deliver a backlog of features
• Enjoy challenging the way things are done for better outcomes.
• Have a solid understanding of Software Engineering
• Have worked in an Agile environment
• Have a passion for all things techy

 
Skills and Qualifications we are looking for: 
 

• 3-5 years of experience of working on numerous software systems with a strong interest in data. Our client’s technical stack includes Java, NodeJS, Google Cloud Datastore & MySQL. The service is built with ReactJS and NodeJS
• A strong background in coding – specifically Java and JavaScript
• Experience of working with various database technologies – MySQL and Google Cloud Datastore
• Experience consuming data from and creating Restful API’s
