Description

Our client Scott Pallets is a leading Europe-wide, industrial supplies organisation servicing the industrial, public and manufacturing markets. To support Scott Pallets further growth, we’re searching for a Regional HR Business Partner to work on a hybrid basis to cover Burton, Needham, Peterborough, Dereham, Barry, Booth St and Ellesmere Port.
Reporting directly to the Group HR Manager, the role will be responsible for delivering a valued added, customer focussed, HR service by implementing the people plan to support the achievement of the Business & People strategy.
 
Key responsibilities will include:

  • Advise, develop and coach managers in dealing with colleagues and all people processes and policies so Line Manager capability is improved, a people centric culture is created and colleagues feel that they are heard and treated fairly and consistently
  • Advise, coach and develop the capability of Line Managers to generate solutions for employee relations issues and those which result from acquisitions, and change so that colleagues are treated consistently in line with our employee brand and legislation
  • Monitor and analyse people data, working with Line Managers, to develop and implement robust plans to address issues so that KPI targets are achieved
  • Coach and support managers to execute effective performance management in a consistent way across areas, so that poor performance is addressed, colleagues are performing to potential and vacancies minimised
  • Implement the talent and succession planning processes, analyse the results, in conjunction with the line managers and HR Leadership, to agree and deliver the learning and development plan
  • Develop partnership with People Services and drive process compliance within areas so that there is a continuous quality and efficiency improvement and the employee experience aligns with our brand values

 
Key requirements for the role:

  • CIPD Level 5 preferred or studying towards.  Attitude and culture fit are more important.
  • HR generalist experience in a multi-site, commercial business including experience in a HR advisory or Business partnering role
  • Experience of designing and delivering learning & development interventions
  • Understanding of HR processes and up to date knowledge of relevant discipline area
  • Ability to take responsibility for own self development and CPD
