Description

We are the recruitment partner of Epipole, a Scottish medical technology company who seek to make a difference in the eye care industry. They are highly adaptable and constantly evolving, and value integrity, agility and empathy as well as a constant strive for growth and excellence. This is an exciting time for Epipole and they are looking for someone to help them reach their goals.

Epipole are looking for a highly experienced individual to join their growing team as an Electronics Engineer, in Rosyth/Hybrid role.

Electronics Engineering has been outsourced to date so this will be the first permanent hire in this area.  As a result, you will need systems thinking and be keen to be involved in the end-to-end process taking things through to prototyping and manufacturing.

What makes working at Epipole different from the rest is the opportunity to grow your career as your opinion will always be valued. For the ambitious, there will be opportunities to progress further.

To be considered for this Electronics Engineer role, you will have the following skills/experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar; Master’s degree, preferable
  • Medical imaging experience would be ideal, but we are also open to any image sensor development background
  • Practical experience with modern electronic design software e.g. Altium
  • 5+ years’ experience developing electronic systems
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills

Desirable skills/experience:

  • Designing to meet EMC standards

In return you will receive 33 days paid holiday per annum, inclusive of public holidays.

This is a superb opportunity to develop your career with a progressive, innovation-driven organisation who pride themselves on offering meaningful work experiences.

If this role sounds of interest, please apply and we will be in touch to arrange a confidential, no-obligation chat to provide full details about our client, the role, and the opportunity. You will find us professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Please do not apply directly to the client as it may harm your application.
